It's Christmas
Well it's Christmas Day and I'm real greatful for the things I got. For like the longest time I thought my mom had gone out and gotten me a PS2.... but we were up late last night after coming home from opening presents at my aunt's house, and we saw e/o playing Santa. I had been working on making her a homemade scrub top for her work for about a month and I gave it to her as a Santa gift. And when I came around the corner there she was. And she asked me what I got her for Christmas and I pulled it out and she was REALLY happy. And so she told me to go look on the living room couch and low and behold there was my very own personal laptop. I was all extactic. =) My sister got a karoke machine *rolls eyes* and my brother got a gamecube. Well when we opened our presents this morning, I also got a printer, gadgets, new web cam, and computer desk with my computer.... along with clothes and two dvd's. It was a whole lot of fun. Yet I missed Ben more than ever for some reason. I guess I wanted to share my selfish happiness with him. But I couldn't and the night before he made it sound as though he didn't want too. So I guess it's finally coming down to what it almost always does... I'm gonna get hurt again. But I can only wait things out for a little bit and see what he does. I got him these really great Christmas presents ready for him.... and I just hope he still loves me when he comes home. I dont know. =/ But yeah I've been playing around on my new laptop and now I'm waiting to get that new wireless internet sometime tommorow. *sigh*... This was a great Christmas. Yesterday we all went to my aunt's house and had a small dinner and opened up our presents from others that weren't the ones living with us lol. But we played Battle of the Sexes with the Grandparents and boy was that fun! Then we played Catch Phrase and laughed our butts off for a while. Then today we went to my Grandma's house and we watched a little bit of The Christmas Story and then ate a big dinner..... ham, cranberries, fruit salad, rolls, gravy, deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, and olives... oh and I can't forget the yams. Afterwards we all had a slice of pumpkin pie which we all made attempts to run off with and keep for ourselves.... but it didn't work. And I really didn't do much more than that.... So I'm going to play on my laptop for a little bit more and then I suppose retire to bed... since I really doubt Ben to call me.... so yeah. G'nite Friends and a Merry Christmas!
