ATTENTION MSN MESSENGER USERS
This is not a spam. I am warning all of you about a malware program that downloads itself and sends itself to all of your online msn contacts. If you get a message from any of your friends that reads "omg this is so funny!" followed by a link, DO NOT click the link. Doing so will download settings changes, adware, and malware to your computer. It will also send itself to your friends, doing the same to them, etc, etc.
If you are reading this a little too late, here are a few suggestions:
1. Run a virus scan.
2. Use Ad-aware SE Personal. It is a free program that can be found on Download.com
3. Use Regclean. Another free program on Download.com
4. Check your Internet security settings, Favorites, and the Add/Remove Programs list. Change or delete anything that you suspect.
5. Alert your friends that don't read my journals.
