I ran 5 miles in 52 minutes today at the aquatic centre. I'm not in the shape I once was, but that's ok. I've dreams about bicycles and bike rides the last three nights, I think because I really needed exercise. One of my things I've learned from growing up, or specific bits of wisdom about myself, is that I need exercise in order to maintain good mental health. If I don't have a good amount of exercise, I first get cranky, and then eventually depressed, which makes getting out for some exercise more difficult. I likewise have a pretty easy time keeping on keeping on going to the gym if I make a point of it often enough.
I bought this Jill Barber album on itunes so that I can send it to my Grandmother. I have her Christmas gift here, but haven't sent it yet as it arrived just a couple days before Christmas. I'd really like to write her a Christmas letter to accompany it.
So, resolutions:
-write more letters to Grandma, Aunt Daphne, Chris/ Moe/ Eve, relatives and friends.
-buy no new clothes - VV and Frenchies are A-OK.
-be vegan (I'm doing quite well with this)
-really learn to snowboard.
-be a good friend, be a good aunt, be a good sister
I think that's enough. I can do those.
