Sparda walked the hallway, heading towards the room that had been assigned to him. The one who had met him at the door had been polite enough, so he had decided to stay for now. It wasn't like he had anywhere else to be. He could not return home, and not even his powers could aid him in it. No gate would take him home tonight. And this place was as good as any other, as far as giving him a roof over his head and a safe place to think.
His heart was heavy, his mind swimming with the new and unwanted discoveries. But he didn't care about those sort of things right now. Only one thing mattered in his mind. He just wanted to go home. And nothing more. He wasn't sure how, but he'd find a way. But for now, he'd sleep. And take the edge off the heaviness that weighted upon him.
