It's been interesting. Learning materiel for AP exams that I've been ignoring all year isn't very strenuous, but it is time-consuming. I've chilled, blown shit up, and lightly prodded a certain dysfunctional adventuring party into making something not altogether unlike an accomplishment. That's all good, though, because evil is afoot - or perhaps a claw. I'm installing Battefield 1942 on a school computer right now. The last 30% is slow as anything. It had better finish by 3:35. Yesterday I got some nice certificate-type things from the Board of Ed for math and chemistry, as did the rest of the usual suspects - and an unwilling bystander (points at Ashby like it's not obvious). Found out that I'm never going to drive the Axiaks anywhere. Ever. To make a long story short, it took threats of violence to restore the headrests in Tina's (a.k.a. Jenn's, but she's playing with koala bears) car to their rightful places. Actually, I don't know if it really required the threats, but I like making them anyway. Besides that, there was also the general feeling of overdressedness that half afflicted the trip to the Dragon Buffet - only half because the Axiaks were something less than stylish. What else has happened lately... chemistry luncheon and newspaper interview over vacation, but accompanied by one Mr. J. Gonsalves. Hopefully the article shall appear soon. Nerd "party" occurred, major ownage followed - quotation marks added because of a certain lack of attendence among prospective guests. Damn it, why won't this installation finish? Ah, well, math banquet tonight. There shall be card playing, screwing around, getting of trophies, and teasing Tina about the rolls (what, you thought I could resist a once-a-year opportunity like Passover?). Now screw this computer, it's going off in 45 seconds, installed or not. Now I take my leave.
