Scatter Brains 'R Us
I can't believe it's been nearly two weeks since I last posted here, bad me! But my life has been pretty hectic lately, and the fact that I haven't had the net for the last week or so has made things a little hard. I'm finally home after spending nearly an entire week at the Dr's. I mean I love him and his company but if I had to spend another day just sitting around doing nothing I would have shot my brains out! Seriously.
I do have to thank him though, if he hadn't have been so bored I wouldn't have forced myself to start writing my novel. I've cranked out nearly a thousand words. That's really pitiful for me usually but I've had writer's block for the last three years (yep count em 1-2-3) so a thousand words is delicious right now. And I'm going to savour it. I'm aiming to write five hundred to a thousand words a day. Rock, my proofreader (and a good friend) is going to go through all of my work and check it before I post it up. It's a concept that he and I have been mulling over for a couple of weeks so once it's up and running I'll let everyone know.
