(no subject)
it is amazing what fatigue can do.
i panicked for a moment because i honestly couldn't remember what day it is. this whole summer has been like that, because every day has been the same.
however, NO EXCUSES! today wasn't the same. today was so, so nice.
jake picked me up around 1:00 and we did all sorts of things and drove around and laid around and then he took me to Sun Shui and i remembered why i love him [it gets lost sometimes to me because i am so analytical and can be so maladjusted when i try too hard] and we both just kept smiling and enjoying ourselves and giggling and then not giggling and telling and musing and it was just really so pleasant.
plus, Ridin' Dirty is pretty much one of his [only] fave rap songs and so it came on several times in the car and i know that you know how that went down.
don't rent Freedomland, though. #1 is that i am thinking about it and i don't know why they named it Freedomland, i mean it's part of the movie but it's a tiny part of the plot, nothing really. #2 is that maybe if i hadn't read the back of the dvd case i wouldn't have been disappointed, but it said there was a SHOCKING ENDING. and so we got to the climax and i was like "well wow, this is neat, i guess", and then i kept waiting for the SHOCKING ENDING and as i was beginning to lose hope, the scene i was watching faded to the credits and i harumphed in exasperation. i guess the climax, which wasn't the end of the movie, was enough of a shocking ending for the director.
as much as it attempted to be less than predictable, it was fairly predictable and really, i didn't get a single thing out of it.
i am doing fairly well. i have seen a lot of people i love this later half of the week. however, i only have 4 or 5 days left, really, before it all piles on. yogagrapesofwrathdancepianoviolinexercisereadtakepicturestakeawalktakeabikeride. hopefully i can work it all out.
i'm really hoping that you've enjoyed your summer and that even though it's winding down to the last bits, you're enjoying that too and it's not bugging you.

oh, p.s., when T.I. [i think it's T.I. but i don't feel like checking] says in his song that "it's goin down", does he mean he's going to have sex with you or he's going to beat yo' ass? i always thought he meant like "oh, IT'S GOIN DOWN, MOTHAF*****" but now i'm not so sure.
