It's so complete. So absolutely worth reading. It's elegant, well-researched (Swahili proverbs, Russian, Euclidean/Non-Euclidean geometry as a Spockian method of description?!), utterly, truly heartfelt and gorgeous... Best fanfic ever. Ever. Ever.
In other news, the hellish fourth term is very nearly over! My grades have taken a beating, and I came within ONE GRADE POINT of repeating the term! But I'm pretty sure I'll do OK on this last exam coming up, CPD written, at 1 pm, then it's all over! Path was a bitch, considering how the term started; a brutal back-stabbing betrayal by people I thought were friends and colleagues... people who are trying hard to be all "No Hard Feelings, lol" now that Path Group is over. I will forever have the last laugh, considering MY group won Best Path Group, and have that commendation on our transcripts. Success is, after all, the very very best revenge.
I'm coming home on Saturday, and bringing a very dear friend with. It should be fun. Money is, as ever, a giant concern, but I'm planning on ignoring that for the holidays and enjoying my time off. The hell term is nearly over! Life goes on. Every day is one step closer to the MD. One step closer to my dream (and abject poverty and bodily fluids and being at the bottom of the med pecking order for years)!
