I GOTS RED ENVELOPES!! OH MAN I LOVE CHINESE NEW YEAR! I've forgotten how fun it is. I think it's my favorite holiday now. I even had fun at the family dinner. Usually I'm just quiet. But this time I was all joking with the gramps and the uncles. And it was fun making fun of my great-grandma with my auntie and my mom. Of course, she's hard of hearing so she didn't hear anything.
At one point, this family in the "VIP room" (HAHAHA) at the restaurant busted out a karaoke machine. Even though their room was like segregated from everyone else's tables with a wall and door and everything, we could pretty much hear everything that was going on inside. I was like, "OMG. They sing so bad but they sing so freaking loud." (Uh. Translated from Chinese. I swear it sounds better in Chinese.) And then my uncle and granduncles were like laughing at the "WTF" face (the infamous Stephu look I get so much) I was making everytime they wailed into the freaking microphone. And after a while of listening to the wailing my uncle was like, "I can't listen to this anymore. I'm gonna jump out the window." Mind you, we were on the 15th floor. Yes, the singing was THAT bad.
Then later on we went to my cousin's and my uh. Cousin-in-law?'s new apartment. They just moved in and DAMN. It is FREAKING nice. It looks like a freaking lounge or something. Kinda reminded me of Eden for some reason. I think I'll go hang out there everyday from now on. Just kidding.
I can buy my new camera now. :D I am one happy camper.
Zommy's trying to climb onto my lap again. I think she needs to go get her nails cut. But I really don't wanna take her, because 1) I'd be going alone. 2) Or I'd be going with my mom which is really annoying. 3) And it brings back memories that I'm trying to... not erase... but place in the back of my mind until I'm ready to remember again.
