House in a house
This has been the best night I've had in a good while. It was just what I needed to pull myself out of this funk I've been in recently.
Roddy got himself a gig at a friend's place in Baltimore, so Katie and I headed over after she got off from work. I was a little late picking her up because my parents decided that they needed a ride to a landfill to get rid of the propane we had in the back yard, but that's a story for later.
Katie and I went to this fantastic little crêpe shop next to the Charles theater for a bite to eat before heading over. I had a "bananarama" crêpe and it was the most amazing thing I've ever had. Ever. Bananas, peanut butter, granola.. oh my goodness it was delicious. Afterwards, we drove to the house where Roddy would be playing and we had a kickass time. Everyone was so friendly :)
What would such an entry be without photos
And as if that wasn't enough to make the night, dear Katie and I went to the Zeeba Lounge after things started to die down a bit at the house. My hookah cherry was finally popped. Huzzah.
How I didn't smell absolutely disgusting when I got home is beyond me, hahahaha
