Well most of you who know me know that I say I want to be a teacher. If all goes well I’ll have all my classes done for an AS in Mathematics, Physical Science and Physics, and Biological Science, and an AA in Liberal Arts and Sciences in Math and Sciences by the end of spring if all goes well with the grades. I am excited about this. However I forgot to take one class required for transfer so I may do it in the summer. Recently (shortly after Thanksgiving), I decided I’d be fine majoring in chemistry and minoring in math. My original idea was to major in both and be a math/science teacher.
On Thanksgiving my mom mentioned that my that my dad thinks I should try forensic science and I thought about it thinking on it. It really sounds like an appealing idea. I could always be a teacher later if I wanted or if I change my mind, it should still be open. According to a friend of mine who also wants to be in forensic science that most jobs want you to have a bachelors in almost any science so I really don’t have to change my degree goal. I need to find out all the things I should or need to do for this, but so far the career center has been closed when I stop by it (I’ve tried twice) despite that it’s supposed to be open at the time according to their hours listed.
