Squirrel and G-Man 24 Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile White Out
It's been a week. It's time to update, despite a lack of real things to report.
Snowing tonight. Cold.
Spent most of the week fighting yet ANOTHER cold. It's mostly gone, except for the occasional mucousy cough.
Went in on Monday night to get cough drops from the Super Target I used to work at. Ran into Ramon, so we decided to go get dinner and do some shopping. I picked up the DVD version of the complete 1st season of Queer as Folk for $35 at Circuit City, to replace my VHS version I spent over $100 on in 2002. The VHS version was messed up anyway, especially tape 3, and the price has dropped enough to make it justifiable.
Now I just need Six Feet Under seasons 3, 4, and 5 to drop enough for me to justify finally adding those to my collection.
Had dinner with Valerie at Luna's on Wednesday night. And spent last night with Wendy at Barnes and Noble, before we headed over to Tony's to meet up with the gang and have dinner at the "VI." Which is what the Village Inn near me calls itself since being remodeled into this ORANGE diner, with weird circular booths and a high end dessert menu. The food, sadly, has not been improved.
Today I've been lazy. Watching TV. Called Ramon to confirm plans to go out on Wednesday night to the new Detour. Was supposed to go check out Tony's new Donkey Kong machine, but I can't even get it together to take a shower, so that was kiboshed.
Tomorrow I think I'll hit the gym for the first time in a week and a half. My body is needing it.
