Soundtrack To Life.
IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool... Don't worry, there's no danger of THAT!

Opening Credits:
Manic Street Preachers - Methadone Pretty

This is a good opening credit song for anyone. It rocks in this total 80's hair metal way.

Waking Up:
My Bloody Valentine -- Touched

Apparently my waking up was rather woozy and noisy. And has guitars that sound like layers of strings. Either that, or it was a scrambled Disney movie that woke me up.

First Day At School:
Self - Stewardess

Well, 2 albums later, the guy who is SELF did an entire album using nothing but Fisher Price xylophones and little kids ukelele's and stuff. It sounds happy and childish, and I think I would have loved singing "NORTH EASTERN SOUTH WEST MISSISSIPPI!" when I was 5. So, I guess it works.

Puppy Love:
Meat Puppets - Predator

The lyrics? No.
The feel? Kind of works. It's a bit of a romantic lighter waver, especially during the chorus. "Time, I got me the lucky right/ To see it in an apple light/ I'll always remember right/ To see it in an apple light."

Fight Song:
Manic Street Preachers - Faster

I didn't expect my iTunes to pick a good song for this. But it did. It's certainly a good song about fighting yourself or fighting the world. Or anorexia. Or something.

Breaking Up:
Smashing Pumpkins -- Appels and Oranjes

Perfect would have been better. Or Tear. Or Crestfallen. Or Daphne Descends. This...well, I guess it could be a breakup song. But it's more of a "lets stay together and ponder the meaning of life" thing.

Prom:
Athenaeum - Spotlight

Well, I guess I went to a hick high school. It's a borderline country song. But it's GOOD borderline country, so I won't complain. I might have even slow danced to this.

Life is Good:
Morel - All of the Sweet Ones

The good time of my life apparently consists of me hitchhiking across the country giving blowjobs to truckers and sending Polaroid's of me doing it to my lover.

Driving:
Pet Shop Boys - Home and Dry

Well, that's what I want to be when I am driving.

Flashback:
Manic Street Preachers - The Convalescent

Maybe I flash back after a war. I don't know.

True Love:
The Dawn Parade - The Craving

Ok. This song is legitimately romantic. "If you want it enough...can a life of hate, be saved by love...if you want it enough." I could totally feel it in a John Hughes movie.

Wedding:
The Dawn Parde - Some Desperate Beat

This song is legitimately unromantic. And kind of annoying. I would play the Cupid Shuffle at my wedding before this.

Moment of Triumph:
Pearl Jam - Evenflow

Do I kick the ass of a homeless person for some reason? Or just realize that there's an even flow of luck in the universe?

Death Scene:
Dada - A Friend of Pat Robertson

THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANT PEOPLE TO SAY ABOUT ME AS I DIE!

Funeral Song:
Twilight Singers - Esta Noche

I apparently have quite the sexy little funeral. This song always makes me think of vampires in a jazz club, which is a really high compliment.

End Credits:
Trembling Blue Stars - Sacred Music

What a sad but elegant way to end a movie.
