HP Reread 2010: Chamber of Secrets. The whole damn thing.
So after taking a while to track down a copy, I managed to knock out all of CoS in two days. Because I am fucking awesome.

It's not the best book, but the mystery of the Chamber itself is pretty good. And Lockhart has to be one of the most ridiculous people ever, so any scene with him is hilarious.
I think they just wanted to fly it. I mean, who wouldn't?
Yes, it is the vanishing cabinet. The second half also makes an appearence. Nick uses it to make Filch leave Harry alone. You know, once you re-read it, it makes a lot of sense that the sixth book was once the second. The two are very much linked. The necklace that Malfoy tries to send to Dumbledore is also in the evil wizard shop, as is the hand thing he uses when letting in the Death Eaters. It's madness.

Kenneth Branagh. Just...amazing.
Despite the number of times people have tried to kill Harry, he still hasn't grown a self-preservation instinct.
So I have found a timeline. Of the entire series and then some. It makes me kind of sad, because there are so many goddamn deaths.

To be honest, it wasn't really my cup of tea either. I probably wouldn't go back. There are not a whole lot of other options on campus, but I wasn't sold on the idea at all.
