...thought it might be a good idea to hold a market on a semi-regular basis, to profile local artists and creative people of the alternative persuasion. Being informally part of a Starving Artists Collective myself,I think this idea may be quite popular with sellers and the alternative public, alike.
The idea: What if we set up our own market in Chch for alternative artists and makers of things? And there were weird and interesting buskers and performers and fortune tellers and the like. A freak show arty craftsy market? A Black Market?
