I've had an unusually busy few weeks with cat commissions, although that's not what Ruby was. Ruby was me sketching from life and then having some fun with sewing star-shaped sequins on as a halo for our disgruntled angel.
Now, as for today? Well, I do have more kitties to sketch, but I'm taking today for my own art, which means I am FINALLY going to paint some lilacs, the way I always forget to do and promise myself I will do NEXT spring. Well, this is officially Next Spring and I have lilacs in a vase, so I'm cleaning up my studio "Unfuck Your Habitat" style, 20 minutes at a time, and I'll post shots of the resulting lilac painting in a few hours.
