Room 410, Saturday Morning

Prom had been pretty damn cool, much like last year. So, much like last year, Eve had returned at an ungodly hour and passed out in bed. (The roomie had done much the same.)

However, she'd kind of forgotten one little thing about prom.

At Fandom, prom meant small ones.

Two more children had found their way to 410, dragging a somewhat surprised (and tired) but not at all displeased Adam behind them. They'd searched the other floors first, just in case.

Pushing the door open further than it all ready was, Kristof and Gwen made a beeline for Eve, with simultaneous cries of "mommy".

"Hiiii, you guys!" Eve grinned at them, patting the bed. "C'mon up."

"Did you miss us?" Kristof grinned, climbing onto the bed and taking a moment to help Gwen up.

Adam stood in the doorway, smiling. "Quite a wake up call."

"Of course I did, you guys." Eve leaned foward to hug them both. "You think that's bad? Gwynn and I had these two come barging in and waking us up," she said, pointing to Mairin and Javelin.

"Gwen! Kristof! I didn't know you'd be coming back! I would have waited and look, I have a new sister, so she's your sister, to, 'kay?"

Someone was excited to see her cousins.

Eve laughed softly. "We're just one big happy family."

She gave Eve and Adam a shy smile. "So, even after you leave here you won't be able to get rid of me."

Mairin crawled into Gwynn's lap with Javelin so that Gwen and Kristof could have time with Eve.

"And Aunt Savannah and Uncle Johnny live close by and the wolves and Grandpa 'Necio..."

"That's exactly how we want it," Eve said to Gwynn in reference to her comment. "Wow, Mair, we really are one big family, then."

Gwynn smiled, burying her face in her daughters' hair.

Gwynn smiled back and Mairin grinned at him.

"Never a dull moment," Adam chuckled.

"Hi Javelin!" Gwen waved. "We didn't know you were either!" She might have been excited to see her again. "Cool! What's her name?" Kristof was curious.

"Her name's Mairin," she said bouncing.

Mairin waved at Gwen and Kristof.

"Hi Mairin," Kristof returned the wave, just as excited to gain a new family member.

Mairin was very cheerful. She had her two Mommies and Uncle Adam, and now she had two sisters and a brother, too!
