Give me home for a rest
Heading back to Ottawa tomorrow. Been packing and organizing stuff all afternoon. My grandparents drove downtown to pick up a couple of boxes and my computer to store at their place for the summer. Hopefully they'll bring my computer up to Ottawa when they come for the May long weekend.
They really need to invent small, light suitcases with pocket dimensions inside, because there's so much stuff I'm trying to bring home.
With exams all done as of Tuesday, the rest of the week's been pretty relaxing. Thursday I went to Einstein's to hang out with the Toike people, which was great because we had a great turnout. Luke and I alienated our end of the table with a great sci-fi related discussion.
Yesterday I met up with John and we went out for wings at this great wings and ribs place John knows. It's known for the "Armageddon Wings," which require you to sign a waiver before you eat them. I opted for the "H Bomb" wings, which are the second spiciest. Quite good and QUITE spicy. I am clearly the man now, dog. After getting totally full, we went back to John's. John got frustrated with the Fire Temple in Ocarina of Time (much to my amusement) and I played through the Prologue to Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, which is just as amusing as the original Paper Mario.
Holy balls, Lost is such an awesome show! Really need to finish watching the episodes John burned for me.
Can't wait to be back in Ottawa. Hopefully the summer won't go by too quickly.
