After nineteen long years of rejecting my parents' "Do as I say, not as I do" policy, I'm finally starting to understand where they are coming from. My youngest brother is a tiny little baby 14-year-old freshman. Okay, so he's not really a little kid anymore. But the point is, he's still not nearly as mature as someone who has already gone through a lot more of life. After reading his profile, and knowing that he chills with a crew much older than he is, my big sister worrying instincts are starting to kick in. This isn't the first time he's alluded to using a drug which I wouldn't reccommend that anyone should ever ever ever ever ever ever start using. It wrecks your life, and destroys the people who care about you. He rarely eats, he's never home except to sleep... if he sleeps at all, cos he's always up so late. All this adds up to some pretty damn strong warning signs that I really wish I'd never have to see in another person, especially not my baby brother.
