[AUDIO - and this isn't Cooper speaking. It's a strange, stilted voice you don't recognise.]
You are heere an thereis no place to g o ... BUT HOME!!
[After that, have some laughter. Again, not Cooper.]

[Let's just say the Manectric is fond of meeting new people.]

Well hey there, puppy. Where's your owner?

[A whistle further away does make her ears swivel back to listen, but she doesn't respond to the call the way she should. She keeps her eyes fixed on the teenager and offers a bark instead, as if letting her owner know she found something interesting she'd rather not leave.]
[And that's when Cooper shows up ... and stops for a second.]
[There's a feeling of deja-vu, somewhere. Or some other notion he can't quite place. It's been quite a while since he saw her, after all, but the scenario does seem familiar.]
Audrey?
[Tricia stays by her, wagging her tail - showing off her find.]

Agent Cooper?

[Then again, the same goes for Audrey and he keeps his eyes on her, like she might disappear if he looks away. He's surprised, a little confused.]
When did you get here?

(Pretty vivid dream though, but Audrey always has weird dreams. There's trepidation in her gaze, like she's not sure who it is she's seeing. Agent Cooper or something else? Maybe not Johto, but she wears the marks of where she's been. And there, there's a smile.)

[But there's a hint of a smile hiding somewhere near his eyes because her answer further feeds into the feeling of familiarity that he unabashedly treasures, because in this place, he's had so little of it.]
Does it feel like a dream to you?
[It's a little too real to be one, isn't it?]

Not anymore. You're you, right? I mean, of course you're you but you're not..
(Her sentence trails off and there's a sadness that snaps behind her eyes, momentarily drowning out the excitement.)
Where exactly are we?

[He knows he had one ... even if it was quickly replaced with wonder.]
[But he doesn't miss the sad note that has her trail off, the little bit of sorrow in her eyes. But he doesn't ask, because he's answering her question.]
It's called Johto. It's a different world.
[And as if to emphasize, the blue-yellow dog by her side nudges Audrey's hand not-quite-gently with her snout.]

(The strange canine gets a pat on the head in return but she doesn't take her eyes off of the man in front of her. She couldn't if she tried.)
(A relieved sigh then.)
So I take it that you're not the same Agent Cooper from my universe then.

[It's an odd thing to say, because he's fairly sure she's the same Audrey. But something in the way she worded it has him looking at her almost curiously, and he speaks slowly - thinking about it.]
You certainly look like the same Audrey Horne.
Reply
(She almost looks apologetic, a simper touching her lips and an awkward shrug rolling her shoulders.)
Just like I'm pretty sure you're not the Cooper from mine. You don't..
(She swallows, shakes her head.)
Just a hunch.

[They could usually get along, but for whatever reason, she seems almost, what? Scared, sad? Different Audrey or not, he feels there's something completely amiss here.]
Audrey, what's troubling you?
Reply
(There's a lot of weight being carried by that 'you'. She moves closer to him, peering back once in awhile to look at the strange dog.)

[So it's with that he drops the topic, with a little hum of thought and lingering hesitation.]
I'm glad to see you too.
[He means that.]
