Me: Do you have a bridge and a troll too?
Kid: ummm no...
Me: Can we finish the story? You can tell me about your goat at the end.
Kid: *nods*
Me: So the troll said...
Kid: Miss Arnold I love my goat.
Me: And why wouldn't you?
Kid: I kiss my goat.
Me: Do you think that's wise? That's how germs are spread. I've never seen a goat use a toothbrush.
Kid: Nah Miss, its ok. Goats have really short necks...
Me: *squints at kid*
Kid: Really short necks, you know, so they can't lick their own bums... So it's ok to kiss them really.
Me: haha GENIUS!!!
There is no way that kid came up with that explanation on his own. He must have been coached to say that or else I'm changing his report. 5 years old, That's gold!
