The moments I remember distinctly are few and far between, not because I didn't like it, but because I liked all of it.
I missed Bob Singer's crane shots. Show is that poor, people? :(
Sam's rental with the security alarm! FTW! *falls over giggling*
There were so many Evil Dead and Twilight Zone references and throwbacks to previous dialogue. I think he was trying to hark back to the situations in those episodes and bring them back to us. Like this one: Evil Dead. "Don't get too excited, Sammy, you might pull something." was also from Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things. It's genius. Jeremy Carver wins at life, yo.
I was soaking up all the arguments and the schmoop... things that the boys have needed to say to each other, even though we still didn't get the secrets. Ah, the secrets. Did anyone else get the impression that Dean knows way more about Sam than he's letting on and he's just waiting for Sam to tell him?
motorwill doing victory arms when John said, "You're my son, I love you." One could argue that it wasn't really Dad, so he didn't really say I love you to his boys like that. But Clark the Crocatta (sandwich) told Sam that everything ever said is kept somewhere: voice mails. phone calls. He was collaborating things that John said on a pretty regular basis and he was using them against Dean to convince him that it really was his Dad. We know that evil things have tried to trick Dean before (Devil's Trap) and that it doesn't take him long to catch on. So, when John said, "I love you" in the course of the conversation - just dropped it like it was common, the obvious reason for everything - and that Dean just accepted it without pause said SO MUCH to me. John is slowly being vindicated in canon from all this fandom "bad dad" crap and I LOVE IT. \0/
truthordara busting out laughing at the re-mention of BustyAsianBeauties.com
I loved the whole "the platinum membership is really worth it". *snort*
*iz anger-fuzed* Poor Sam. Just. Hang on. People are beating on Sam for leaving when Dean is freaking out? I don't understand this. First of all, Dean was the one who wanted Sam to stop looking for a deal breaker and go back to hunting. He wanted to take this case. Dean was the one who got sidetracked. That doesn't just happen lightly with Dean - he's a focused guy - and it's worrying Sam. Under different conditions, Sam would have insisted that Dean go with him to Lainie's house, but he knows Dean's too messed in the head even for that. To help Dean, he has to both keep him safe and figure out what's going on. And, look at it this way, he just got over a six month stint working jobs by himself. As much as it might rub it in, he's used to that now and he knows he's okay by himself. It's his turn to take care of his brother for a change. *hands Sam a beer*
"You want a poem?"
"Moment's gone... unbelieveable."
BEER OPENING RING. Hai. Hi. It's twisty today, you can has vacation.
The biggest smile crept over my face at what the boys were watching. You can hear the audio at the end pretty clearly.
:"Don't you worry now. I'll be around long enough to, uh...":
*Blacklid's brain inserts 'Bow chicha bow wow'*
:"Well. I'll be around.":
*happy sigh*
Well done, Show, well done.
