Thank you! Oddly enough, this is the one scene in the episode that makes me smile rather than cry. I cry during Lucy's scene (Sam!) and Dixon's scene (Dean!), when Sam agrees too easily to kill Gordon and the point when Dean finally pushes Sam too far... "jus cause", breaks me. But this one is the iconic Sam and Dean - what they would be if their lives were normal. Makes me forget about the evil around them for just a little while.
Ah, it was a beautiful moment but for me John's absence/presence was felt strongly which is where I found it hard. John's knowledge being passed from Dean and now to Sam - the car being a symbol of home and family but also of everything they've lost and are going to lose. I really found it devastating.
The other scenes you mention were gorgeous and certainly moved me too. It was a terrific ep.
Ah, man. *wipes eyes* That was perfect. His frustration and bewilderment over the engine shifting to it being about *Dean* and how Dean just comes over and quietly is *there* and.... *sniffle* I love it.
The J's Sam and Dean are made of awesome. I only dabble ineptly in their sandbox. Thanks for reading - and the comment! These little fics have been perfect for my attention span lately. LOL
*hands out Kleenex* Dean will always take care of Sam, even when he's invisibi-bi-ble. Cause he's a sekkrit ninja. :) Thank you for telling me. I can't stop smiling.
Thank you! *hugs* This was beautiful and heart breaking and, just...I'm not sure I have the words to describe it. I'm just so glad that someone wrote something in honor of that wonderful scene. And you, without a doubt, did it justice. Loved it!

I'm so glad you like it. These boys, they say so much without words, don't they? :)
