tahirire and I have been spending the last 10 days together, jamming in as much fun and laughter and awake time as we possibly can. I'm not quite sure how the world has continued to exist, with both of us being in the same room for over a week. Last night was the first solid 8 hours of slumber I've had since she got here and that was because we both literally passed out from sleep deprivation.
I told her that she can never leave.
I am, perhaps predictably, sitting in my favorite coffee shop on the square in Denton, with the Stevie Ray Vaughn music and the regulars with their cups of joe, and the student art that is different every time I come in (today there are quite beautiful abstract paintings), sitting at a barstool table with a view of the old courthouse and the green oak trees. I truly love this place. It's my haven.
It's a bit cloudy here, but it will burn off soon and be supernaturally brilliant. It's an unseasonably balmy seventy degrees and there's a gentle breeze. Beautiful. Not as quite gorgeous as last weekend yet, but perfect for those who will be outside.
I am going to help answer all the comments on our joint 5.22 meta post,
Ask The Oracle, since she isn't planning to be online again until later and she insists on blaming at least half of our chicanery on me all of the time and that I should participate in stuffling the deluge. I don't see the resemblance, Watson. Surely, that pillow is covering up something important...
Review in progress. Cappers were ON THE BALL this time! *luvs* In the meantime, you can revisit
CHUCK'S DREAM if you want. It came true, you see. *winks, like a cat with feathers still sticking out of his mouth*
Love you all.
Here, have another song. WE'RE ON A ROLL, GUYS. LET THERE BE SO MUCH MUSIC THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DECIDE WHERE TO START OR HOW WE'RE GONNA LISTEN TO IT ALL. There are sliding doors and there are secret doors...
PYRAMID, by Radiohead
I jumped in the river and what did I see?
Black-eyed angels swam with me
A moon full of stars and astral cars
AND All the figures I used to see
All my lovers were there with me
All my past and futures
And we all went to heaven in a little row boat
There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
I jumped into the river
Black-eyed angels swam with me
A moon full of stars and astral cars
AND All the figures I used to see
All my lovers were there with me
All my past and futures
And we all went to heaven in a little row boat
There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
