It's still really awkward, though. Maybe if it didn't seem like Clif was standing off camera with a gun to their heads holding them hostage in his dark lair when they should be sleeping.
I am fairly sure they did this late last night. I imagine they were distracted by work, tired (if they started as early that morning as Clif's tweets imply), probably just as weirded out by the whole situation as some of us are. But, they did it anyway because they felt like it's important.
And we're their fans, right?, and we shouldn't care if they don't use their "oh hai, dahling media" faces. These are their REAL FACES.
I just don't understand how returning the favor and listening to 50 seconds of thought from two people we all(?) respect is that big of a downer...
This is my own opinion, for whatever it's worth (not much) ;)...
If you could clone yourself to deal with some things you didn't have time for because you are at work for 16 hours a day, wouldn't you?
They are not personally accountable for every single word that comes out of Clif's mouth. Clif is a grown-up. But I think it should count for something that they trust him to take this on.
spn_g, whut is that? *probably doesn't really wanna know*
Clif has said some things that I couldn't take seriously, yes. BUT. I don't think he meant them seriously, either. He was talking to someone who HE'S not going to take seriously... and he's an internet n00b, and who of us DIDN'T flame retards with that same kind of behavior when WE were new? We expect nothing but professionalism from some people and when we don't get it, the bubble bursts and people overreact. It has not colored my personal feelings about it because I didn't EXPECT him to be perfect to begin with... maybe that's just me.
I worried a lot for a long time about upsetting people online and now I just don't care. *shrugs* Neither does he, and I kinda love that.

I really just wish he'd learn how to spell. And stop lighting spn_g's fires.
