Wherein I only do tricks until I get too chagrined and adore people with knives.

I find myself wanting to be more outspoken lately -- chewing people out for being ridiculous, when really, what else do we do around here -- and that's a sign that I need to take another step back.

I like fandom. And by fandom, I mean the IDEA of being involved in a group that spends their free time discussing and appreciating a TV show and the people who work on it. ALL of the people who work on it. For their WORK.

Participating in SPN GOSSIP is not fandom.
Invading PERSONAL SITES (whether it's locked or not, it's still personal) is not fandom.
Listening to opinion and fretting over PRIVATE LIVES is not fandom.

BECAUSE IT'S WRONG.

The reality is out there, but most of you are too busy having a paranoid, biased opinion to stop and listen to your hearts. The truth is out there. You have to know where to listen.

When I refer to fandom from now on, please let it be known that this is the fandom to which I refer: My own group of people. Those I bring into my tinyass world on a person by person basis.

If that makes me pretentious, I would rather be pretentious than be in any way affiliated with what's been going on, especially lately.

Ciao. Any takers?
