Somebody mentioned me in relation to a comm I haven't even joined yet and somehow things have gotten muddled. Just... before it gets too out of hand, I wanted to say one thing:
I am NOT anti-Wincest.
I am also not anti-fandom or anti-slash or anti-het or anti-girls or anti-tinhat or anti-yourauntMatilda. I am not a gen nazi. I am equal opportunity fiction.
When I expressed an interest in having or creating a posting/rec community for fanfiction that is canon-compliant at the time they are published, it's because I'd like to see one. If there is one, I'd join it. It's a leading interest. It's not a passion to the exclusion of my, or anyone else's, other facets of enjoyment when it comes to the writing in this fandom.
But just out of curiosity, is anyone else interested in having a community that's focused on canon-type stories? Case files and compliant subtext and Show "reality" as something you don't have to warn for? Is it just me? Show of hands?
