Um, insert extreme beer-i-fied rambling here:
If I were a casual viewer of this show, I would be like
"what the ever-living hell!" No, really. I haven't been seriously emotionally attached to a freakin' television show since Little House on the Prairie. I am SO not kidding.
"I am the prophet Chuck!" REALLY? LFMAO. SRSLY. LOL. JUST WRITE MOAR.
Remember that time, fandom? When you said, "They don't care! They're not watching! They don't know about slash..." And I said, "But they ARE watching us!" I TELL YOU. PWNED. IS WHAT YOU ARE. AND THEY DO, SEE?
Also? I am SO tired of wank. ANYONE WHO MEETS THESE QUALIFICATIONS CAN DEFRIEND ME RIGHT NOW. I AM SO NOT KIDDING:
1) Anyone who thinks that Sam would have done it with Lilith.
2) Anyone who was upset and thinks that this episode was written to insult fans.
3) Anyone who believed that they ARE NOT HERE watching.
4) Anyone who says private things they KNOW THEY SHOULDN'T SAY.
DID YOU SEE THAT? That was the ultimate fan service and I can't even. That was like them acknowledging that we are helping to write this in a way. I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF I CAN HANDLE THAT.
HOW IS THIS EVEN REAL?
ETA1: So the laundry scene? We all, as fanfic writers, abolutely LOVE the idea of them being domestic, right? Isn't it AWESOME that they use that as the point in time where the boys start to get squicked at the level of "bzuh" reality? Almost like AIRING THE FAN'S DIRTY LAUNDRY? THAT WE KNOW AND SAY STUFF WE SHOULDN'T SAY? WHY IS IT SO FUNNY TO ME?! IT'S BRILLIANT. Just because it's real doesn't mean that people need to know. AND YET. They twitched it so that the writer was the freakin' prophet? WUT. Hallo, weird compliment, I did not see you thar. It brings the idea of getting "Kripke'd" to a whole new level of BZUH.
And people keep saying that we are seeing this season in Dean's point of view, but we know all of Sam's secrets. He was/is/will be willing to be the sole sacrifice for both of them. But he was not agreeing to Lilith's approach - he didn't buy it for one second, what she was trying to sell. Strange. She wasn't afraid that Sam could kill her but she was scared about her destiny and was trying to change it - doing EXACTLY the same thing the boys were trying to do... which means SHE HAS PROPHETS, TOO? So that means that at the same time they are trying to change their destiny, SO IS SHE? Isn't THAT interesting? *goes hmmmm*
