I am trying to decide whether I'm amused or annoyed at SAG. They are fluttering their hands, "No, it's okay, go work", like they have ANY real say. They are trying to paint themselves all innocent while they ask for a moon they ain't gonna git and running a smackdown campaign on AFTRA, which agreed to the same contract that the WGA did. Maybe SAG is betting that the AMPTP won't want to lose more $ by shutting down again, that not calling a strike will prevent repercussions. To AMPTP's credit, they've temporarily agreed to keep working under the old contracts, but they've also given their "last offer". Already being in de facto circumstances legally, an AMPTP lock down would strengthen their position at the table. It's kind of boggling my mind a little. *throws up hands and waits*

We are? That's cool. I'm turning 16. LOL

Srsly.

I mean, I know that there are a lot of starving actors out there, but this type of thing just makes the rest of us sit back and go, "I work my ASS off for like 6 bucks an hour, DEAL WITH IT!" Ya know?

Han Solo needs to march in there and say "no, we do not have time to discuss it in commitee!!"

I just want my show!! My ONE show, people. Is that SO HARD?

*dies*

*flags down the flailboat - jumps aboard and hoists more sail*

This is absolutely nuts. It's not really a strike ... but it is? Or not. But maybe they will. Or maybe they won't. And we might have filming happening. But we might not.

I really, really want to slap a bitch. Someone just point me who to slap, m'kay?

Gad. I want a margarita.

I'm sure they are itching to get back in - them and their crews! Hopefully SAG won't screw all this up and keep everyone out of work!
