I appreciate the interest in John's Truck for the Supernatural Convention in Dallas, but I don't think we should continue making plans for a presentation by Creation. There are many reasons for my decision, and maybe we can arrange something in the future, but for this convention it is just not feasible. There will be a separate reception for the truck over the weekend at a time and place that I assure you will not interfere with Creation's schedule.

My reasons, like I said, are many. Overall, their organizational skills are not leaving me with a warm fuzzy... and I'm not getting a good vibe from other people, either.
'Cause they don't know anything about the Old Man, like how he's SO NOT gonna fit in the double doors of the hotel to sit there in the lobby, and
'Cause they didn't even have approval from the Hyatt Regency before they suggested it, AND
'Cause if I did that, all the people who wanted to hear it run and see the weapons box wouldn't be able to ('cause it kinda should be running when you open it - it drains the battery).
'Cause they didn't know when or for how long they wanted to present it.
'Cause if I'm off enjoying panels or whatever with you guys, no one would be stationed with it to let people sit in it or answer questions.
'Cause I'm working class. LOL
So, we'll do our own thing, k?
I'll be arranging some other kind of reception where we can all meet each other and I can share more than I could if I did this Creation thing. I will be making that plan this weekend, in time for you all to see it before you jump on planes, and will let you all know here and on spn-con-squee.

Here is my awesome hubby Aaron re-hanging the driver door that hasn't been right since, oh, probably Dead Man's Blood when they threw a dude at it. It needs paint, too, but if we don't get to that before the con (because an alternator, brake master cylinder, new oil and trans pan gaskets and the up-chucked rail for the weapons box are in line ahead of that), hope that's okay. :)
