Nature's Wrath

'Tis their domain among the clouds
High above the blue-green earth
The big birds soar
Thine kingdom rests upon the sea
Of grass and wildebeasts
The great cat's roar
Of walls, stone and steel above
The buildings standing tall
Gate to man's door

As the Crow Flies True

Fore'er the wheel turns on
A constant turning among the chaos
Fate and choice no longer rule
And only men survive
Fires burn hot and heavy
Buildings aflame with white hot heat
A thirst no water can clench
And only men survive
The quickest way is always the straightest
And so the lead flies true
Death is the ruler of all
And none of the men survive

I think I'm going to begin a book, I'll place excerpts as I go along. I like war-time fantasies so it'll probably be writing in the medieval times era.
