"Once tagged by this entry, the assignment is to write a blog entry of some kind with six random facts about yourself. Then, pick six of your friends and tag them; no tag backs. This explanation should be included."
1. I pretty much never read "high fantasy" books (knights, princesses, dragons, elves--esp. the fucking elves--etc) because the genre is entirely too vast and I hate learning a new culture/map/pretentious language every time I pick up a book. I can never remember the characters names, countries of origin, religious customs, races, etc. George R. R. Martin changed this, and he had better come out with the next Song of Ice and Fire book before I riot. Or before he dies, which I live in fear of. So if he dies, I will riot. And I don't get this book by next August, I will riot. There will be rioting.
2. My "totem" animals are cocker spaniels, foxes, and mourning doves. Some argue sparrows, too.
3. I have synaesthesia, which means my senses blend together. I taste color and hear sound, etc. It's a beautiful world.
4. I have never intenionally imbibed alcohol. (Yeah, I'm such a goodie goodie.) There have been three times when I did it by mistake/it was given to me: Russia/vodka, Christmas/eggnog, Graduation/Kahlua.
5. I fall madly in love with characters in books who are outcast for their physical appearance (primary among other things). :'(
6. Musicals have been the most influential genre in my life. The stories, the music, the lyrics, the people, the voices, and most everything ensuing from those initial revelations. It started with Phantom of the Opera when I was fourteen and saw it at the West End in London.
