I checked the scoreline a little after 4 to see a Muller goal which - okay, statistically speaking Germany has a very good record that when they score first they tend to win.
So cool.
Twenty minutes later I check livescore on my work computer
And we're 5 up.
And I literally have to run upstairs and check in with a coworker and he and I have to run next door to confirm it.
And he has to look at the screen twice and I have to look at another person to be like 'really Really?"
Like guys.
This is Germany. Germany tears teams to shreds on a perfect day and on a good day they will at least dominate.
But 7 goals? Against Brazil?
That's literally unheard of. Especially in a semifinal.
Klose has his goal and that's the important thing because Klose earned it, and comms have for the most part shut up about Howedes being a liability and Jogi has switched back to a 4-2-3-1 now that we have Schweinsteiger and Khedira back in relative fitness.
But.
This is surreal.
I am still not sure I am making it up.

fivethirtyeight was giving Brazil a 78% chance of winning the whole damn thing
