Good think I felt like checking Purchase's portfolio requirements yesterday, because I noticed I also have to have 'two examples of work must be drawings done from direct observation, rather than drawings done from photographs or reproductions'. Which is my weakest artistic area, crap ^^;.
I'm going to have to do my Drawing assignment that's due Wednesday really well, so I can use that. I'm going to have to ask one of the ladies in Champlin if I can get an egg tomorrow at breakfast XD. Our assignment is we have to draw a still life with three objects, and one has to be an egg (and it has to be a real egg, not just something egg-shaped). I have enough other random stuff in my room to make another still life (it is too cold out for me to want to sit outside and draw a landscape, nuh-uh).
Now I definetly will have at least 15 pieces, since Berwick's letting me in the photo lab this week =)
EDIT: Well, methinks I have one of my 'drawings done from direct observation' done. It was actually sunny today, so I messed around with stuff in my room - and ended up drawing my Game Boy Advance, an eyeliner pencil, and a necklace; I'm calling it 'Gamer Girl'. I originally had other game-related stuff in it, but then the Game Boy came out really well and I didn't want to draw the other stuff. That's when I got the idea to make it more about me, adding the girly things to go for that angle. I'm one of those artists who's never fully satisfied with their stuff, but it doesn't look bad =).
