Wishing you were here
love to hear your voice.
Wonder where you would be
if you only had the choice.
Would you have stayed where you are
or come back here today.
Is it a better place
knowing I can never see your face.
Even though its so far away
i'm still you missing you today.
I wonder if you're proud of me
living my life as I do.
Or are you ashamed and embarrased
because I slip up and don't stay true.
You taught me everything I need to know
hopefully one day i'll be able to show
how I truly feel.
If I could go back in time
i'd tell you all the ways you've changed me
tossing my body into the sea.
But here I am still
and you are forever gone.
I know I have to live
but my biggest regret
in al my life is not asking you to forgive me.
My future isn't certain in deed its not
its not my time to rot.
