I'm not shipping Shannon/Sawyer (I'll throw in a "yet" because we're only a few episodes in) but I am really starting to like Sawyer. I'm actually kinda seeing Sawyer/Kate (like you, I didn't buy the rape thing). I actually started to see it last week, but because she's the biggest female-part on the show, she might end up with Jack the Hero, because that's the way these things work.

Boone...sorry, not liking him. He's a little too in love with himself. After trying to take the gun the other week, and now the water thing, he's really not helping himself out, here. On the other hand, both Sawyer and Locke worked their way up from my not liking them, so I won't put it past Boone, either.

The last episode or two, I wasn't liking Jack. But this episode either redeemed him or started him on the path to redemption. Yeah, his parents were really...what you said.

I want Sayid or Sawyer flashbacks, but it looks like we're either going to get Michael and Walt or the Koreans next week.

I thought Sawyer was kinda cool from the first episode, when he getting under the others' skin from the start. It's such an interesting personality trait, because he caused tension wherever he goes, but then he slips in a little moment here and there that makes him sympathetic or you can see his side of things. I'm liking him more and more. I like the energy between him and Kate, too. I really loved it when he said he knew her type of girl. Heh. He comes off as really strong to me, a real survivor (literally!). He's got a kind of prison-yard adaptability and street smarts that I find so appealing. And he snarks all over the place. I still laugh every time I think of him saying "Bear Village." I'm really happy with how the writers on the show have developed him. He's definitely one of my favorites ( ... )
