I love finding deals online. I found a different brand of charger that is compatible with my lappy, and has good reviews.... for $30. This is MUCH happier than the $80 I thought I was going to spend. It's in the mail now.
My university also has amazing professors. One of them loaned me one of the chargers from her computer lab/classroom until mine comes in the mail. ::pets borrowed charger:: It makes my lappy v. happy. ^_^
I started to have a bad day yesterday, but it turns out I'm too much of a dork to remain pissy for long. All it took was the chance to read "Stellaluna" (the world's cutest children's book about a bat that is raised to be a bird) and I was happy the rest of the day. Granted, I was reading it aloud to a large group of college students, but that just makes my own use of voices more amusing to me. There's nothing like having to go "Eeeek!" in front of your peers to make me want to laugh REALLY hard. odd as that sounds.
I want to write something, but I'm not sure what. I'll have to poke Kit for some inspiration/facts/prompts. I know what I want to be writing, but I need to do some more research. we'll see.
