Yeah...
Almost finished "Headtaker". It's not bad, I'm still not entirely keen of the Black Library's general portrayal of Skaven as incompetent buffoons. Queek Headtaker is portrayed as a madman of Rambo proportions... That I like. The other main Skaven character, Sharpwit, is basically the outlier that realizes that he is both the smartest guy in the room, and cursed to be surrounded by idiots.
There's a side story involving Dwarves and long-time lore character Gorfang Rotgut makes an appearance. I'm still annoyed that they (GW) have left him out of the Orc armylist for several editions now. Skarsnik is also mentioned a few times, but has not appeared yet. Dwarf king Thorgrim Grudgebearer is also mentioned.
But anyway... Did not accomplish much today, had to get a friend to help me with my cars dead battery. That's been replaced...
Tomorrow I'm going to finish that damned Space Marine Assault Squad if it's the last thing I do. Time permitting, I'm going to take a crack at finishing that Tactical Squad as well.
Tuesday I have a dentist appointment and mom has her follow-up for her broken finger. Then we gotta go grocery shopping.
I was hoping to get a Virginia day trip in this week, but well see. Mom also has a dentist appointment Thursday, so we'll see if she can drive.
Former Baltimore Colts icon Art Donovan passed away today at 89. So tomorrow will probably be day of mourning in Maryland.
And a wrestler by the name of BJ Whitmer was seriously injured in a bad piledriver spot at the Ring of Honor show in Ontario. Luckily he wasn't crippled. Think they're gonna let him out of the hospital in the morning. Don't know why promotions are still letting guys use piledrivers.
