but for those that do:
I have to say this stupid little corn town in the midwest means so much to me. It hit me last week at our east game, and today with all the september 11th stuff that I am so happy and so proud to be from this stupid little hick town in illinois. I am proud to be the "B.A. farmer tennis girl."
I am still incredibly proud of my north jersey roots and my ties to the East coast. I cried today for september 11th and for moving and leaving so much behind and coming to this stupid little hick farm town. Sociology was hard. We spent the whole hour talking... and I just realized how close of a call it was.
And how lucky I am out here. With all the new construction and target and chilis and orland one step away... new lenox isn't half bad. I have a train to chicago and the highway in to joliet and out to naperville.
But still. You guys are the only reason I made it through. Thank you.
