There will be peace in the valley for me someday
Things are heavenly, for now.
It's this gorgeous night, all cool and dark and crickets. Right now, there's nothing wrong. There's no pain or fear or despair; just a cool breeze, a quiet peace, and the soft light of the laptop.
It's refreshing. I don't want to see the far side of this moment.

MEH. And right as I go to post this? Out come the neighbors into their backyard, behind mine, with their beer and their loud talk and their squeaky doggie toy and their Monster Ballads and their entitlement to take over my peaceful night in the name of their own good time.
