F-2 tornado hit Andover last night, cutting a 50 yd path 2 miles long. Our power was out for 18 some hours. I think it was the most awesome storm I've ever witnessed, even if it was a little bit fightening. It's interesting to see nature in it's full wrath. Interesting, not good obviously. I hope everyone makes it out ok after these storms.
The cell phone towers must have been taking a beating as well, not only from the storm, but from the massive influx of calls. My phone was acting up and I gave up at about 9:30 and fell asleep. Woke up at 6:15 sans alarm, so I got to work fine. Work went fairly quickly too. All week it was like that... I hope that continues. I know it won't though since we have ORNL coming up. ORNL is a special gov't project for some 60 sets of 8 scales a piece. It's going to be a lot of OT.
Nothing really else is happening. I lead a fairly boring middle-aged life. I don't have kids or pets or a woman friend or anything right now, so really I'm relatively lonely I guess. I wouldn't really say that, but it was always nice to have someone around to do things with and Kelly is not that person for me. Good friend and all, but she has Scott and the 2 of them together bug the hell outta me.
