Went to an awesome Irish Pub last night and had a really good conversation with a guy from England who was there. He was born in Seattle, but grew up in England mostly, though he lived all throughout Europe for periods of his life. He had really interesting views on things and I had a great time just conversing with him. He even had some insight on what the EU really thinks about Americans as a whole, and he shared a lot of my views on how people see eachother based on stereotypes. All in all it was a good night. I'll probably make it my new favorite spot to drink. They have Guinness, Bass and Smithwick(lighter guinness basically) on tap as well and they serve 20oz imperial pints, so that's a bonus. They also serve traditional Irish foods like beef and cabbage. The best part might be the actual atmosphere/furnishings. They have a fireplace, dark oak wood throughout and a more sophisticated clientele. None of the stupid new drinkers invading the place and destroying the fun.
