I think he let the whole, "being on Chappelle's show" thing get to his head when it comes to the hood pass.

I can't think of any other reason why that would occur to him.

The trippy thing is that on the commentary for that episode, Dave says he didn't even know who John Mayer was until they shot that sketch.

I didn't get the impression that Dave was a fan of his music after John left for the day either.

?uestlove played drums on one his albums (just 1 track, though), He's collaborated with Kanye and Common on tracks for their albums, Alicia Keys supplied vocals for a track on one of his albums, he co-wrote a track for hers, he played live with Jay-Z for Jay's Sept. 11th benefit concert, he's played guitar on numberous occasions with B.B. King and Buddy Guy.

Clearly, he's an honorary nigga. /sarcasm.
