I know I know, we should TOTALLY be over this Best Of 2008 stuff, but I also didn't see any tags for books or video games. Figured I might as well.

I was prompted to throw this entry up, after lord_darkseid's entry inspired me to recount my copious amounts of purchased entertainment through 2008.
