I guess with all this overtime and spending for vacation I am just in a spending mood. My sights are now set on a new computer. Well actually it will not replace my current computer, it will be for travelling with and just a fun little addition. It is an Asus eeepc. If you aren't familiar with it, it quite neat. It has 8 gig solid state drive. Doen't sound like much right???? Well it does if you consider the computer is only 7 inches wide! Its about the size of a portable DVD player. It comes with a Linux OS so I will have to get familiar with it but I have heard it is very close to windows and there isn't a large learning curve.
I am planning on getting it in the next day or so so I can take it to Alaska with me. It will be great to carry around (my other laptop is huge--17" and about 10 lbs).
The eeepc will not replace my laptop but it will be great to carry around.
