OpenSky Project. It's pretty damn cool, but I recall reading somewhere that it'll only be able to carry about 50kg ... damn ...
In other news, as oxygen producing plant life evolves on a planet, its colour can change as the ozone changes where the photon peak is. (you need free oxygen for ozone to form)

Lasty, one of my favorite rocket booster concepts that never was.
Sea Dragon, it's an enormous simple rocket made out of steel 'cause its cheaper that way. Its also built in a shipyard and launched from sea, possibly with the help of an aircraft carrier :) #edit: Oh yeah, it could also lift the space station (at least the mass) in one shot. :) #
Anyway, back to matlab.
