So I'm at my home away from home. Murray, Ky. What a place. haha. Well, I can say that nothing has changed here since i left, except I know less people, and that's kind of ok
I've been spending a lot of time with my parents at the lake, and just relaxing and writing music and reading a lot. Right now I'm reading "Of Human Bondage" by Maugham, cause I didn' get to finish it last summer. It's decent. It's been really quiet as of late. I'm here in Murray staying with Erin and Elly for the next two nights, and tomorrow we'll be going to see Gaston. THen tomorrow night I start choir practice at the old church i used to go to. That'll be interesting. Lord knows i'm not religious except in my own Pagan way, but, they seem to not care, and it'll be good for my voice to get back in shape. Met a new cat, Burke, the other day and he went with Erin and I to see the Longest Yard. Which wasn't such a bad movie. I started working on my novel the second night I was here, and so far i've got the first chapter pretty much secured. Hopefully there'll be more news on that later. I miss my friends back in Philly, but I know I'll see them soon enough. But i love you guys! hehe. Other than that, Rice is really happy here, and Gary and I built him a pen as large as the downstairs of the house, so he's got LOTS of room to run. It was great getting to work with Gary on it, and afterwards, though I was exhausted from all the hammering and carpentry, i totally felt a sense of accomplishment. And that was nice. Yesterday, Rice and i went to the lake, and he tried to swim for the first time. It was cute. He didn't know what he thought about all that water. lol. But Mommy got a tan, and that was good. hehe. Anyways, I have to go call my dinner date, but hi all, hope everyone's doing well, and call the cell is ya feel like it. If i don' pick up, I'm in Tn. and just leave a message and i'll get back to you soon. Tchuss!
