ecological footprints
i was introduced to this on friday in my international studies discussion and i thought it was kinda neat. basically you just fill out a short questionnaire (its length gives me doubts about its accuracy, but oh well) and it calculates how many earths we would need if everyone on the planet lived like you did. i take up about 13 global acres to live on, and if everyone else did the same it would take 3 planets. i highly doubt this will have an affect on the way i live...but it is interesting to know nonetheless...and perhaps one day my global conscience will be at a higher rate than it is now. anyways, the website is www.ecologicalfootprint.org if any one else out there is interested.
