Enrapturing lies 7/1/2004
Steel fingers unrelenting, cold grip upon my soul. Numbing my feelings to a shocking pain, forced to smile and play a role.
Toast to that which I've become, an imprisoned china doll. mirrowing a marionette's moves, beaten if away i attempt to crawl.

Encased in glass, polished to a shine. The smile plastered never truly mine.

Pretty, witty, polite, kind. Such believes the world, so very blind.

Talented, level-headed, wise, mature. Madness within, so insecure.

Follow each cue, read your scripted lines with care. you know the binding law, true emotions you are forbidden to bear.

With each deceitful story you tell, every lie you weave. reality becomes a blur, and the air harder to breathe.
