Oooo, a LJ. Nowadays I mostly use FB and occasionally Twitter, but this place needs dusting.
"So, what is going on?", you ask. Well, it just so happens that I am now a Doctor.

I ought to go to EoFF just to post and brag about it, then vanish from it again for a few years.
Now that the Ph.D. is done, I still have teachings to do this year at the Uni, right now, Web programming 101 for first years, Operations Research/Stochastic Programming and XML/XSLT/XPATH/... + Web Services for fifth years.
Also, Doomgaze's entry about that lesser MMO reminded me I need to brag about what I'm doing in WoW. In order to make it shorter, here's the link to the guild site to see pictures: http://dissent.airelle.info/
As you can see there we:
- cleared Trial of the Grand Crusader (10 man) with 49 attempts left. Curse you, Anub.
- cleared all the hard modes needed to unlock Algalon in 10 man. I even have my own key. Mine is the rusted proto-drake. And the 310% flying speed!
Also, 6290 achievement points so far, only missing a few for Merrymaker and the purple proto drake.
